National Dialogue on Climate Action
11-4pm @ Rose Hotel, Tralee
This event will take place on in the Rose Hotel, Tralee, Co. Kerry. It is a free, ticketed event and is aimed at citizens of the South-Western seaboard counties – Kerry, Cork, Clare and Limerick. Please feel free to share with groups in these other counties!

7pm @ Siamsa Tíre – Tara Shine will be giving a talk – ‘Climate Change – An Issue for Everyone’. This event is being run in conjunction with GLAN Tralee & Transition Kerry. Cost €8

11am @ Imperial Hotel: Mike O’Neill, (café owner, founder of the Wild Mind Nature Festival and Chair of Fenit Development Association) will make a presentation at 11am at the Imperial Hotel on his transition to a plastic free business (free event).
1pm at Siamsa Tire: Angela Nagle will talk about her family’s experience when they cut out plastic for a month and she will discuss her top tips for shopping and living plastic-free (free event – supported by Kerry County Council).

Community Climate Action Courses
We are looking for community groups who want to participate in our upcoming ‘Community Climate Action’ courses taking place around the county in spring 2019. These are one-off 3 hour long courses, looking at how our patterns of consumption can have a major affect on our climate, biodiversity and ecosystems.
This programme is supported by Kerry County Council under Local Agenda 21 funding.

Planet Experience, the first of its’ kind in the world, is working in partnership with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and is looking to recruit 50 climate change champions (Advocates).
