As part of the Kerry Biosphere Harvest Gathering Weekend
invites you to our HARVEST GATHERING – CNUASACH AN FHÓMHAR

TIME/AM: 10.30 AM – 2PM
Following on from our Bealtaine gathering at Tralee Bay Wetlands, the consensus on the important themes going forward are: – Connection – Inspiration – Immersion in Nurturing Places –
We are delighted to invite you all to the oasis that is Gortbrack Organic Farm, near Tralee, where we will harvest together, through a variety of activities and workshops to nourish body, mind and soul. These include:
‘Exploring Sense of Place’ with Emer Fallon, KCC Writer in Residence. ‘Harvesting the Bounty’ with Ian McGrigor. ‘Connect with the Autumn Equinox’ in the Labyrinth.
In the spirit of the Meitheal, we welcome you to come with your ideas, thoughts, poetry and musings. Please bring some food, seeds or plants from ‘your place’ to share.

21/09 TRANSITION KERRY HARVEST GATHERING – CNUASACH AN FHÓMHAR EVENT AT GORTBRACK ORGANIC FARM
TRANSPORT AND PARKING: Parking is limited, so please carpool where possible. There is a Local Link Bus that can drop you at Quill’s Cross and it is a 10 minute walk down the road to the farm.
WEATHER: This will be both an indoor and outdoor event and is a working farm. So please wear appropriate clothing and footwear for all weathers!
There will be other events hosted as part of the Kerry Harvest Gathering Weekend being organised by The Kerry Biosphere Reserve. These events are being held in collaboration with KCC Biodiversity Officer, The Kerry Biosphere and The MacGillycuddy Reeks Mountain Access Forum.
