Education & Awareness
A cornerstone of Transition Kerry’s work since we were formed in 2007 has been education and awareness raising through innovative, interactive, practical and nature-based community learning.
Information evenings, workshops, world cafes, film nights training programmes, harvest festivals, festive gatherings, sustainable spaces, guest speakers, exhibitions, online seminars, webinars, conferences, community orchard planting, site visits, community mapping, nature and farm walks and talks are all part of Transition Kerry’s approach to reaching a diverse audience in many Kerry communities and organisations.
