How can we work together to make Kerry more sustainable and resilient

Transition Kerry are hosting a public event on Thursday 5th March. The theme of the evening is ‘How can We Work Together to make Kerry more Sustainable and Resilient?’.

 

There will be a range of speakers from organisations who contribute much to the Kerry Community:

 

Thomas O’Connor, Chairperson, Transition Kerry

Donal Hunt, Estate Manager, IT Tralee

Kieran Rutledge, CEO, Tralee Chamber Alliance

Michael Scannell, Kerry County Council Community Department

Macra na Féirme, speaker to be confirmed

Venue: HCT Restaurant, IT Tralee

 

All speakers are invited to give a short 5-minute talk on how their organisation is working towards sustainability and resilience in Kerry. We then plan to explore the common elements in our work and find ways to collaborate with each other.

 

Transition Kerry is a community group which aims to build local sustainability by working with existing community and business networks (www.tranistionkerry.org). This is a free event and all are welcome.
