4pm:  Short video by Kerry Branch Irish Wildlife Trust Little Samphire Island 

A brief look back at a mini Bio-Blitz carried out on Little Samphire Island (Fenit Lighthouse) in April 2018.  (Produced by Kerry Branch Irish Wildlife Trust).

Followed by the documentary ‘Natura Urbana – The Brachen of Berlin’. This is about urban ecology, directed by Mathew Gandy.  It tells the story of how plants re-colonised parts of Berlin after World War 2. (Previously screened at the Fenit Wild Mind Festival a few weeks ago).

This event is supported by Kerry County Council as part of Kerry Biodiversity Week 2108. It is co-hosted by The Irish Wildlife Trust (Kerry Branch), Siamsa Tíre and Transition Kerry.

Kerry Irish Wildlife Trust will have their photographic display in Killarney Library for the week. They will also have a slideshow of their photographs in the lobby of Siamsa Tíre for the week.
